REJURAN

REJURAN is a "bio-regenerator" made of polynucleotides (PN), which are DNA fragments of a specific size derived from wild salmon. DNA fragments stimulate regeneration and repair of skin tissue while reducing inflammation. REJURAN activates the self-regenerative ability of the skin and is for people who are concerned about skin texture, collagen loss, fine lines, skin hydration and scarring. Treatment areas include under the eyes, cheeks, nasolabial folds, around the mouth, lower face, neck, décolletage and backs of the hands.

WHAT IS REJURAN?

REJURAN is made of polynucleotides (PN) derived from salmon testes utilising DNA Optimising Technology (DOT). The DOT technology is applied to a manufacturing process from the raw material > extraction/separation > filtration > fractionation > filtration > purification > drying > PN. It is a clear, colourless and odourless solution that is injected under the surface of the skin.

Why salmon DNA? Salmon DNA is very close to human DNA (97%). Salmon DNA is genetically similar to human DNA.

How does it work? It works by activating the skin’s own regenerative ability to stimulate fibroblast cells to produce collagen and elastin while reducing inflammation.

What does REJURAN do? REJURAN is for people with skin concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, scars, large pores, skin hydration, redness, hyperpigmentation, thin skin, dull skin complexion, collagen and elastin loss.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A REJURAN TREATMENT?

Michelle will discuss the consultation form you filled out - your medical history, motivation for treatment, your concerns and expectations with treatment outcomes. You will be handed the mirror to show her the area/s of your concern and she will discuss treatment options (if applicable and you are deemed a suitable candidate for treatment), risks, pricing, downtime and aftercare. She will often mark your face with a pencil and discuss the aging process with you and advise how a treatment option may help address your skin concerns. If you're deemed a suitable candidate for treatment, and time permits on the day, you will be given consent forms for your specific treatment and your 'before' photos will be taken. You may feel pain and discomfort with REJURAN. Immediately post treatment, there will be multiple bumps under the skin that can last up to 3 days. Bruising and swelling may or may not appear immediately and last up to two weeks. Consultations are practitioner-led and do not guarantee treatment. Individual results for treatments vary from person-to-person and from treatment-to-treatment.
