Pricing & Consultations

At MD Cosmetic Nurse, pricing is guided by individual assessment rather than fixed treatment menus. Because aesthetic medical treatments involve prescription-only medications, specific treatment costs cannot be advertised online under Australian regulations.

Instead, pricing is discussed in detail during your consultation to ensure recommendations are appropriate, personalised, and aligned with your goals.

Why Treatment Prices Are Not Listed Online

In Australia, aesthetic medical treatments are regulated and require a face-to-face consultation before treatment options and costs can be discussed. This ensures care is provided safely and ethically, based on individual assessment rather than generalised pricing.

This consultation-led approach protects patients from one-size-fits-all treatment plans and supports informed decision-making for medical treatments.

How Pricing Is Determined

Treatment costs vary from person-to-person and are influenced by several factors, including facial anatomy, skin condition, and individual goals. In select consultations, the use of ultrasound is incorporated into the treatment cost.

All costs are explained clearly before any decisions are made.

What Your Consultation Includes

Your consultation is a comprehensive, medical-led appointment focused on safety, education, and personalised care. It includes:

- A detailed facial and skin assessment
- Review of relevant medical history
- Discussion of concerns, goals, and expectations
- Explanation of suitable treatment options and risk considerations
- Clear discussion of pricing and treatments

The consultation fee reflects the time, expertise, and clinical assessment involved. Fees are confirmed at the time of booking.

Experience and Clinical Setting

Michelle is a Registered Nurse with over 12 years of full-time experience in aesthetic medical practice and holds a Master of Nursing. Her postgraduate education included a year-long capstone project focused on complications associated with aesthetic medical treatments, reinforcing a strong commitment to safety and evidence-based care.

Consultations are conducted within specialist plastic surgery clinics in Mosman and Surry Hills, supporting a high standard of clinical governance, collaboration, and patient safety.

This depth of experience and clinical environment contributes to the value of your consultation and care.

Ultrasound in Treatment Planning

In selected cases, ultrasound imaging may be incorporated into the consultation process. Ultrasound allows visualisation of underlying facial structures, supporting anatomical understanding and informed treatment planning.

Not all providers offer ultrasound as part of aesthetic assessment. Its use reflects a commitment to precision, risk awareness, and personalised care rather than high-volume treatment models.

Our Approach to Aesthetic Care

At MD Cosmetic Nurse, the focus is on individualised care rather than volume-driven treatments. Recommendations are made conservatively, with long-term outcomes, facial balance, and patient safety in mind. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment.

In some cases, Michelle may suggest a cooling-off period for you to take the necessary time to think about treatment. Michelle may also suggest alternative treatment options, or no treatment at all.

Consultation Fees, Deposits and Cancellations

A consultation fee of $250 applies and is required to secure your appointment. This fee reflects the time taken for comprehensive assessment, medical history review, and personalised treatment planning.

In some cases, if you are deemed suitable for treatment and time permits on the day, the consultation fee may be applied toward the cost of the service. If treatment does not proceed on the day, the fee covers the consultation and assessment provided.

The consultation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation and rescheduling policies, along with consultation fee details, are provided at the time of booking and should be reviewed prior to your appointment.
